Quantica’s flagship campus in Montana combines scalable clean energy, advanced fiber networks, and pre-positioned development sites.

Approximately 1.3 GW of co-located renewable generation and battery energy storage will power the initial phases of hyperscale, AI, and HPC deployments in Montana. Another 1 GW is being developed to further support data center expansion at the 1,000 acre site. 

This integrated approach creates shared value for local communities and critical infrastructure users by:

  • Strengthening the grid by integrating renewable generation and battery energy storage with load on-site
  • Relieving transmission congestion without shifting costs to residents or requiring additional utility investment
  • Enhancing reliability and resiliency for both the data center and surrounding communities through battery energy storage
  • Providing real-time grid services, including frequency regulation, peak shaving, and backup power
  • Accelerating economic and digital development without imposing added responsibilities on local stakeholders
